Parenting is crazy. Anne Lamott wrote in her book Operating Instructions:

I don’t remember who said this, but there really are places in the heart you don’t even know exist until you love a child

I feel like every day a new one of these places opens up and I fall in love and am overwhelmed all over again. She is amazing.
